 चिकाटी आम्हाला सवय फक्त लॉक, लॉकअप, लॉकर आणि लिपलॉक एवढ्याची, एवढीच काय ती मजल होती आमच्या इवल्या मेंदूची. लिपलॉक हा लोकलज्जेस्तव कधी उच्चारला सुद्धा नाही. लॉकर वगैरे असायला तशी ऐपत नव्हती  कधी त्याचा संबंध आला नाही. नाही म्हणायला, इन्शुरन्स वाल्यांनी 'लॉकइन' रुजवला आहे खरा.  पण हिंदी सिनेमाने मात्र प्रामाणिकपणे  'लिपलॉक' हा हिन्दी शब्द(?) लहानपणापासून शिकवला आहे. त्यात आता हे 'लॉकडाऊन'! अन सगळंच झालंय अपसाईड डाऊन!! कुणाचं शेअर मार्केट डाऊन, कुणाचं टीआरपी डाऊन, कुणाचं इनकम डाऊन, कुणाचं डाऊन राजकारण, कुणाचं डाऊन आचरण कुठं रेड अलर्ट तर कुठं बॉटमस् रेड! हॉस्पिटल्सनी सज्ज ठेवले असंख्य बेड. सरकार सगळे उपाय करायला कंबर कसून तयार, विरोधकांनी त्याचं ही करावं हत्यार. एकशे तीस कोटींचा देश, त्यातही अव्यवस्था, अज्ञान, अशिक्षितपणा, बेकारी, दहशतवाद, श्रद्धाळू अंधश्रद्धा आणि डोळस अंधश्रद्धा किती किती म्हणून अडचणी? पण भारतीय बाण्याचा एक गुण विशेष : *चिकाटी* कुठल्याही समस्येवर मात करण्याची त्यांची जुगाडू हातोटी! असो, कुणी मेनू बनवले, कुणी खेळ खेळले (इंडोर) कुणी एकमेकांना घरबसल्...

  अनुत्तरीत प्रश्नांचे ठोके .... व्यवहाराच्या खिडकीतून जगाकडे पाहताना निर्लज्जपणाचा चष्मा डोळ्यांना असं काही भावहीन दृष्य दाखवतोय की मेदुपर्यंत जाणारे तरंग संवेदना बनतच नाहीत. मग हृदय तरी कसं द्रवणार, नाही का? त्याचे ठोके अविरत जैवयांत्रिकतेने प्रेरित असल्याने न चुकता पडत राहतात. अन त्या सोबत पडतात अनेक अनुत्तरीत प्रश्न... पहाटेने सकाळला, मध्यान्नाने तीनिसंजेला, अन रात्रीने किरर्र काळोखाला विचारलेले... अनुत्तरीत प्रश्न! आपुलकीचा आव आणणारया गप्पांतून, माणुसकीचे मुखवटे चढवून त्या प्रश्नांना बेमालूमपणे बगल दिली जाते... स्मृतीचिन्हे, स्मरणिका , जाहीरनामे, सोहळे, समारंभ .... सगळं सगळं ते डोळे पाहतात पण अनुभवत नाहीत. नुसत्या लहरीच पोहोचवतात संवेदना नाही, जाणीव नाही फक्त अनुत्तरीत प्रश्नांचे ठोके निर्माण करतात....बस! ....अभिनव अक्षर

 

साल सरता सरता संपून गेले, जीवनाचे मोल मृत्यूच्या विक्राळ रूपातून सादर करून. माणसाच्या हाती असलेल्या असहायतेच्या कटोऱ्यात, त्याच्या प्रतिभेची अन बुद्धीची कीव यावी इतक्या ठणाणणाऱ्या आवाजात एक निराशेचं नाणं टाकून, साल सरता सरता संपून गेलं! साल सरता सरता संपवून गेलं माणसाच्या सर्वव्यापी अहंकाराला,  त्याच्या निसर्ग विजयाच्या उन्मादाला,  त्याच्या विश्वविजयी हव्यासाला एका सूक्ष्मातिसूक्ष्म अन शुल्लक वाटणाऱ्या  पण विश्वव्यापी प्रहरानं नामोहरम करून गेलं. हो पण जाताना त्यांन ज्यांना ज्यांना नेलं  त्यात किंचितही भेदाभेद केला नाही,  संपूर्ण निःपक्षपाती व्यवहार बरं!   सिनेतारकांपासून क्रीडापटूपर्यंत, शास्त्रज्ञापासून शास्त्र शिकवणाऱ्या पर्यंत,  या टोकापासून त्या टोकापर्यंत, बातमी देणाऱ्यापासून ते प्रत्यक्ष बातमी बनणाऱ्यापर्यंत  त्यानं सर्वांना समान न्याय दिला खरा. या वर्षानं दाखवून दिलं माणसाला माणूस म्हणून त्याची काय किंमत आहे ते.  कष्टानं जगताना, प्रामाणिकपणे वागताना,  परिवर्तनाचं स्वागत करून स्वतःला परिवर्तित करायला शिकवलं.  कारण शेवटी प...

क्यालेंडर ची पाने उलटतात, पुन्हा तो दिनांक येतो.... कुणीतरी आपल्याला मध्यरात्री नंतर फोन करतं  आणि आपण मोठे होतो.... मोठे होतो म्हणजे नेमकं काय होतं? दुसर्याच्या नजरेचा कोण वाढतो  आपल्या वाढत्या उंचीबरोबर ... विचार वाढतात, आचार दृढ होतात... आपल्या 'आपल्या' माणसांच्या  आपलेपणाचे आभाळ आनंदाने ओथंबते.

Better Sorry, bitter Sorry or butter Sorry Gone are the days of the saying—better safe than sorry. In the age of ‘Who-cares?’ , people rampantly through the word ‘sorry’ on anybody’s face in any circumstances of their mistakes. No matter , who they are saying for and what they are saying for. It begins like a fad and settles as a trait among the teens. They use it frequently and carelessly without meaning it as a garb of sobriety and use it to shield their serious mistakes in a friendly way. i cringe at this shameless ‘sorry’. i simply say on such situations ‘Don’t say it’. Good Oldies always say, of course, in a detest, “Angrez chale gaye aur ‘Sorry’ chod gaye.” When i here such careless sorry, i become red-hot iron from inside. But showing an omni-pityous expression, i pardon the guilty one without any sign of burning furnace inside. Some Sorrys are groan by some bitter buddies. i know its a very very sensitive and sensational topic. We have many prejudices and presumptions about this feeling. We dont have any yardstick to measure it. Even we dont have its definition. THE RALLY AGAINST GARBAGE Today, students of the NES' Jr College (Many NESians,batch-2012/13) had a rally for creating awareness among Bhiwandi's citizens and became stake holders in the Civic Awareness Campaign organised by Rotary Club of Bhiwandi. The main objective of this rally was to create social awareness about segregation of garbage. It is a matter of pride and pleasure for all the NESians that the rally was a big success as per the reports.  The rally began from the NES campus 8:30 am covering the surrounding areas like Brahmin alley, post-office, Nazarana Compound, Khadak road, Gokulnagar and it halted finally at Ajay Nagar by 11:30 am. It was really a learning experience for people as well as the student participated.  Street-plays, all set by the students themselves, were also performed which made the spectators think. 26/11, The Day Of Terrorism and Tarzanism... The day will be remembered as the day of danger-stricken, faith-broken and civility-shattered Mumbaiker as well as Indians. Along with it, the day will also recognized as the day of integrated efforts made by Indian Police and Army to stabilize the civility and faith in the service and patriotism. It was a day when about 164 innocent people were killed and more than 300 were injured brutally. Tiger Tiger Burning Bright! Just i saw a Tiger turning into flames and merging into the five elements of the universe…. i couldn’t hold my self remembering those famous lines of sir William Blake’s poetry ‘Tiger tiger burning bright!’ . May be with the different context but this tiger of Maharashtra was burning for people of Maharashtra. By his flames of aspirations he has enlightened  millions of Marathi souls. Nonetheless he has also ignited a patriotic fever among the people of the country by his simple yet strict remarks in his speeches. People may name him any way but it is also a truth that one can either love him or hate him but one can’t ignore him. He was a staunch opponent of the reservation policy. He was a person who thought beyond the caste who believed only in two castes all over the world, one the rich and the poor. दीपावलीच्या पहाटवेळी... दीपावलीच्या पहाटवेळी पणत्यांनी प्रकाशपित्याचं स्वागत केलं. फटाक्यांच्या गजरान सारं गांव जागं झालं. तेल-उटण्याच्या मार्दनानं मग प्र्यत्येकानं अभ्यंग केलं. रांगोळीच्या गालीच्यानी आंगण सजवलं. सुंदर-सुंदर वेशभूषेन थोर-मोठ्यांसह लहानांना नटवल. काकड आरतीच्या घंटांनी नाद्ब्रःम्माला साकडं घातलं. फराळाच्या मेजवानीन खावैय्याचं पोट दुणावल "शुभ दीपावली ! शुभ दीपावली !" असं शेकहेंड करत आलिंगन देवून प्रत्येकाला सांगितलं. दीपावलीच्या पहाटवेळी पणत्यांनी  स्वागत असं प्रकाशपित्याचं केलं. .....इलेश.

As white as milk......       Today, to one more deity, we bid a good bye. Mahishasur Mardini: Maa Durga went to her eternal abode. It is believed and followed that on this very day She had killed the demon Mahishasur, the Buffalo Demon. It is symbolized that it's an end of the cruelty. This day is also celebrated as Vijaya Dashmi. Lord Ram had trounced Ravan on this occasion. So it is also symbolically known as victory of the truth over the false. What this day is for all of us? Where is that victory of the almighty over the evil? For us, the runners of the democracy, there is a need to end existing cruelties of corruption at every kind that touches our day-to-day life affairs. Today i saw a footage on Aajtak showing how Shampoo and detergent powder are used to make a milk-like liquid. These substances are mixed with some other inedible things and water to make it look white in colour. And then this liquid looks as white as milk.        ...

Soul to soul....              Today, we see people are more social and less domestic. Take it generally and not personally. Reasons may be varied, school-extracurricular activities-classes-friends or job-hotel-parties-travel mates, job-kitty parties-functions-TV serials, etc. list is unending. Cant we turn it as Home-family-children-family seniors and-discussion-at- dinner? We rarely see such rare sites now-a-days.              Friends, a lecture at my friends college made me introvert to ponder upon the subject that is much discussed now-a-days: Family life. People remain on facebook, albeit without seeing real faces, we travel a lot for distant job-places, we celebrate social festivals and don't celebrate family life. Grandpas-grannies become Foreign-investors, Fathers become investors, Mothers become service providers and then why not then children become just a product?            ...

A DEBATE that taught me something.... Today, in our Jr college, we had a debate over the topic 'Junior College Life: Masti Ki Pathshala or Masters Moulding Machine'.  What are the findings : 1. It's a very different and challenging. 2. It's a responsibility as well as recreation. 3. It's a realization of our inner traits and restructuring of learning. 4. There should be balance between book-piles and Mobiles, laboratory and canteen-oratory, boring with lectures and bunking of lectures, Serious discussion and mindless chit-chats, and finally Education and life. i didn't mind who won or who lose, what i mind is minds were at work.
